Understanding AI Credits and Quotas

To help you manage your content production costs and ensure platform stability, Sofia Creative uses a transparent "AI Credit" system. This guide explains exactly how your usage is governed.

1. What counts as 1 AI Credit?

Currently, our platform uses a request-based model. This means:

  • 1 Credit = 1 Successful AI Request (e.g., generating a blog post, rewriting a paragraph, or creating a brief).
  • Failed requests (due to API timeouts or system errors) are NOT deducted from your quota.

2. How Quotas are Assigned

Your monthly limit depends on your workspace plan:

  • Trial: 500 Credits (Free to explore the platform).
  • Starter: 2,000 Credits/month.
  • Growth: 10,000 Credits/month.
  • Scale (Unlimited): Unlimited access for high-volume agencies.

3. The Reset Cycle

AI credits are reset at the start of every Calendar Month (the 1st of each month). Remaining tokens do not roll over to the next month.

4. Tracking Your Usage

Admins and Owners can view real-time usage stats in the Workspace Dashboard. We track:

  • Total Successful Requests: Your current consumption.
  • Estimated Cost: The underlying compute cost for your requests.
  • Model Efficiency: Which AI models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.) are being used.

5. What happens when I hit the limit?

When you reach 80% of your quota, you'll receive an in-app notification. If you reach 100%, AI features will be temporarily disabled until the next month or until you upgrade your plan.
