In-App Notifications: Never Miss an Update from Your Team
Stay on top of your content workflow without constantly checking every screen. Sofia Creative's notification system keeps you informed about approvals, comments, @mentions, and publishing updates in real time.
Notification Types
You receive notifications for key workflow events:
- Approval Updates — Your content was approved, rejected, or sent back for revision
- Comments & @Mentions — Someone commented on your content or mentioned you by name
- Publishing Status — Content was successfully published or a publish attempt failed
- Campaign Updates — New content added to your campaign, or campaign status changed
- Team Activity — New team members joined, roles changed, or workspace settings updated
Notification Bell
The notification bell in the navigation bar shows a count of unread notifications. Click it to see a dropdown with recent notifications, each with a direct link to the relevant content or action. Unread items are highlighted for quick scanning.
Mark as Read
Individual notifications can be marked as read by clicking them. Use "Mark All as Read" to clear the badge count when you've reviewed everything. Read notifications remain accessible in your notification history.
Grouped Notifications
When multiple events happen on the same content piece (e.g., several comments in quick succession), notifications are grouped to reduce clutter. You see "3 new comments on [Content Title]" instead of three separate notifications.
Non-Intrusive Design
Notifications appear as subtle indicators — they don't interrupt your current work with pop-ups or sound alerts. When you're ready, check the bell on your own schedule. This respects focus time while ensuring no update is missed.
